Not just for PoC but for any member of an oppressed demographic. I hear this about sexism/homophobia/ageism/etc. all the time, and it never fails to piss me the fuck off, because NO, it’s not “just” the way things are — things are that way because people made them that way. But behaviour can change. People can change. Fuck this noise.
